Who are the News Pirates? We’re a ship of fools sailing the seas for the interesting. The relevant. The weird. The geeky. Sometimes we’ll find something about video games, or wax long about the state of the economy and the history of the security market. We’re partisan, we’re “fair and balanced”, we’re thoughtful, we’re chaotic. We’re experts of some things, workers of others, and fools when we choose.

We’re News Pirates, which really means we’re out to sail the sea of tubes called the Internet. We talk about what we want, we write about what we like, we’re opinionated, we’re crass and kind.

So pull up a bottle of rum, settle in your eyepatch, and hoist anchor. There’s news out there to plunder – and we’re out to find it.
