This is pretty cool – researchers put burn patients into a snowfield VR environment, and found that people reported less pain from the burns.
I wonder if having people play Lost Planet or the snow levels of Super Mario Brothers 64 would also work?

I found that smart kids were more likely to have good sex (well, at least if I consider my own young history). But it also looks like kids are also more likely to drink alcohol.
Hm. Reasons?

That’s right – Duct Tape Bandages. Because while sissies will scream “it hurts!” when the bandage comes off, *real men* know you want to rip the bandage off slowly, enjoying the feeling of every hair being plucked from your owie.
Except for eyebrow hairs. Getting those things plucked *hurts*. You women have no idea of the pain us men suffer to look good for you.

I think more and more people are using Google as a backup brain – instead of remembering everything they need to know, “just Google it.” I know some people think this will cause the utter destruction of the human mind, until the day we’re simply jacked into “the Googletrix” all the time.
Evidently, this isn’t such a bad thing, since evidently using search engines can be good for your brain. So see? Every time I search for “hot librarians” and “kitties licking people’s faces”, I’m not being weird – I’m increasing my brain power.
